A: Not at all. Many of my students start from complete zero. I’ll guide you step by step and explain everything clearly.
Q: What do we do in the trial lesson?
A: We’ll talk about your goals, check your level (very relaxed!), learn some real Chinese, and I’ll show you how our future lessons will work.
Q: How do I join the class?
A: After you book, the system automatically sends you a Google Meet link. You simply click it at the scheduled time.
Q: Do I need to install anything?
A: No. Google Meet works directly in your browser. You can join from your phone, tablet, or laptop.
Q: What if my internet is unstable?
A: No worries. If the connection drops, you can rejoin immediately using the same link.
If the issue continues, we’ll reschedule free of charge.
Q: Can I choose the topics I want to learn?
A: Absolutely. Lessons are personalised based on your needs — speaking, grammar, HSK, travel, daily conversation, or business Chinese.
Q: How long does it take to see progress?
A: Most students feel progress after 3–5 lessons. With consistent learning, you’ll see noticeable improvement in 1–2 months.
Q: Do you teach children or only adults?
A: I teach both adults and children.
For younger learners under 10 years old, I recommend the 25-minute lesson option, as it suits their attention span better.
Q: What if I feel shy or nervous about speaking?
A: Totally normal! Many beginners feel this way. I create a relaxed and friendly learning environment so you can speak at your own pace.
Q: What accent do you teach?
A: I teach Standard Mandarin with clear pronunciation.
I’m originally from Northeast China, so if you have friends from northern regions, you may find it even easier to connect with the accent.

A: Only if you want! I can give optional homework to help you progress faster — no pressure at all.
Q: Can I continue after the trial lesson?
A: Yes. After the trial, I’ll recommend a personalised learning plan, and you can choose any package that fits your needs.
